And now in 2027, we’re creating something entirely new and it’s going to be BIG! Designed by Kyle Strait, this new course features jumps, berms, tabletops, and more that will make racing and spectating a can’t miss.

Building and preparations are underway with our partners at Friends of Laguna Seca and Monterey County.

Stay tuned for more!

Trail Run

In 2026, we added a first-ever trail run at the Sea Otter Classic and it was a BIG HIT and is BACK for 2027 with a new course! Explore scenic Fort Ord in a whole new way with two distances to choose from: a 14K (9mi) lap with 1300’ of elevation gain, or a family friendly 5K (3.8mi) loop. Each route explores the trails of Laguna Seca before a triumphant finish on the iconic raceway track.

Strollers are welcome on the 5K course and everyone comes home with a finisher’s medal! It’ll be the perfect way for runners and riders alike to start their Saturday!

Cross Country

Cross Country

The Fuegos presented by Specialized are always about testing your inner fire. And in 2027, here’s how we’re heating things up:

  • All Fuego events will have NEW courses! Course maps with elevation, routes, and more will be published in mid-October.
  • All Fuego XL and XC athletes will be using a corral system for starting, allowing riders to self-select their corral based on their estimated finish time. This start system ensures that riders of similar ability start together, creating a safer, and more enjoyable experience.
