Whether you’re ready to hit the trails or race over the region’s scenic paved and gravel roads, Sea Otter has an event for you. A bike racing weekend like no other, Sea Otter features mountain bike, road and gravel racing for all ages and levels of riders on all types of bikes including para, tandem, and e-bike categories. 

Life Time Members Early Access Registration

Life Time owns and produces some of the most incredible athletic events in the world, including Life Time Sea Otter Classic. Along with athletic events, Life Time’s goal is to reshape the way people approach health and fitness with its healthy way of life communities. As a Life Time member, you get access to our athletic events one week before the event registration or lottery opens to the general public. A Life Time membership also provides you with access to 150+ Life Time athletic country club destinations in the United States and Canada, plus a comprehensive digital platform — all for your happy, healthy way of life.

Mountain Races

Sea Otter mountain bike events include high-speed cross-country racing, enduro, dual slalom, DH and an eMTB race over the rolling hills and trails of the Fort Ord National Monument. The steep climbs, flowing singletrack and rock gardens delight and challenge racers of any age and ability. Race Registration includes a 4-day Festival Pass, parking pass, medals to the top three finishers in each category, and race winners receive a custom jersey.

Road Races

Road Racing at Sea Otter rolls over the exciting and fast Laguna Seca Raceway track and the paved roadways of Fort Ord National Monument. The road race and the circuit race are closed to vehicular traffic. Test your skills and fitness on our challenging routes. Race Registration includes a 4-day Festival Pass, parking pass, medals to the top three finishers in each category, and race winners receive a custom jersey.

Gravel Race

Gravel is back at Sea Otter, with a new course for 2024. Skip the singletrack and grab some gravelly goodness across two, 25-mile laps. Gravel grinders rejoice!
