TASCO Tribe Athlete Spotlight- Gwendalyn Gibson
Dedication. Perseverance. Teamwork. These 3 words describe Gwendalyn perfectly, and definitely the reason she took home both the State and National Championships in 2016.
This will be Gwendalyn’s first season racing as a pro, so making the big jump from juniors meant her training took a big jump as well. She’s been training hard on and off the bike, putting in long miles, gym time and taking the time to recover with yoga.
At Sea Otter, Gwendalyn will be competing at the pro level in cross country and short track. To prepare, she’s focused on structured interval workouts, plus she’ll be doing her first 2 pro races at Fontana and Bonelli the two weekends leading up to Sea Otter.
Gwendalyn’s excited to see what the new season has in store, and she’s ready to put her hard work to the test!
