
Cross-Country
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSThe mountain bike cross country is a wave start race categorized by USA Cycling ability (CAT 1/CAT 2/NOVICE-CAT 3) and age classes. The race course starts at the the Sea Otter Bridge – you will climb the “Corkscrew” – and then travels the challenging trails and gravel roadways of the Fort Ord National Monument to finish at the Tire Bridge. Race distances vary by ability and age category.
In 2021 we are also offering a Junior Short course for girls and boys ages 10-14.

Downhill
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSThe mountain bike downhill is an individual race against the clock – categorized by USA Cycling ability (Professional/CAT 1/CAT 2/NOVICE-CAT 3) and age classes. The race course starts at the top of Laguna Seca Recreation Area – and follows the flowing contours of the hillside to a sprint finish at the bottom.

The 100% Dual Slalom hosted by Clif Bar is a heads-up race against each other – categorized by USA Cycling ability (Professional/CAT 1/CAT 2/NOVICE-CAT 3) and age classes. The race course starts at the top of Laguna Seca Recreation Area swale – and uses the contour of the hillside to negotiate berms, rollers, and a rhythm section or two. An Adaptive category is offered in 2021!

Enduro
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSThe mountain bike Enduro is racing that combines descending skills and overall fitness – categorized by age classes. The Enduro starts at the top of Laguna Seca Recreation Area – Stage 1 uses the downhill course. Stages 2 and 3 use Fort Ord National Monument trails, with untimed transfers between all stages.

The Bulls eMTB Race ePowered by Bosch – is sanctioned by USA Cycling – with open and age-graded age classes. The race starts and finishes at the Tire Bridge and the lap distance is approximately 2 miles. Racers will complete 60-80 minutes of racing.

Gravel Race
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSNEW for 2021 – the gravel race is a wave start race categorized by USA Cycling age classes. The race course starts at the Sea Otter Bridge – you will climb the “Corkscrew” – and then travel the challenging trails and gravel roadways of the Fort Ord National Monument to finish at the Tire Bridge. Race distances vary by ability and age category.

Road Race
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSThe Road Race – categorized by USA Cycling ability (Professional/CAT 1/CAT 2/CAT 3/CAT 4/NOVICE-CAT 5) and age classes – starts and finishes off-venue on Barloy Canyon Road. The Road Race uses Fort Ord National Monument paved roadways – where racers do multiple laps of a 7-mile loop. Race distances vary by ability and age category. Race finish features a climb to the summit of Barloy Canyon Road.

Circuit Race
VIEW MOREVIEW LESSThe circuit race starts and finishes at the Tire Bridge and utilizes the world renowned Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, for an exciting 11-turn, 2.4 mile with 108’ elevation change, closed circuit.
