NEW! ADVENTURE FOR ALL

We are pleased to present the Adventure for All Sea Otter Bike Workshop! Adventure for All is the perfect opportunity for individuals ages 11 and up with intellectual and/or developmental exceptionalities (disabilities) to learn the fundamentals of riding a two-wheel bike and being included in the cycling community. In this FREE Intro to Adventure Biking Workshop, athletes (participants) will learn numerous skill-based progressions that lead them to ride a two-wheel bike independently:

  • Day 1: Learn to naturally react to frequent bike situations to build confidence and to prepare for when they do get on the bike.
  • Day 2: Connect verbal cues to actions so they can take direction from their coaches while on the bike and experience assisted biking.
  • Days 3 & 4: Tailor the athlete’s needs to get them closer to riding a two-wheel bike. Get them to pedal 10 yards independently so they can continue their progression on the bike at home.

The overarching goal of this program is to get them to fall in love with the sport of biking. This will enhance their confidence, self-belief, and connection with others within the cycling community. Contact Adventure for All to get more information on the workshop via the button below.
