Exhibitors and Team Support/Tech Support who distribute as samples any beverages or food products are required to obtain a permit from the Monterey County Health Department.
Any liquids sampled at the event must not be handed out in the original full-size containers. The bottles/cans must be opened and poured into no larger than six-ounce cups before distribution.

Go to the Monterey County Health Department website and refer to their section on food facility health permits, which includes booths at community events. Download the “Temporary Food Facility” permit application, and send your completed application to their Monterey office on Aguajito Road.
