  There is limited camping available at Laguna Seca Recreation Area. You can reserve a campsite online 24/7. Please visit the camping section of this web site for additional details.

  
  
  2. How do I rent an RV?

  3. How do I reserve a camping site?
  

  Follow these steps to reserve your campsite online:

  1. Review all available campsites online.
  2. Identify two or three campsites that will meet your needs. Due to a high demand for camping, your first or second choice may not be available when you try to register.
  3. Review all rules and regulations for the campgrounds.
  4. Have your credit card number, expiration date, CVV2, name on credit card, and billing address available for online registration.
  5. Note there will be a $50 ADMINISTRATIVE CANCELLATION FEE per campsite for all cancellations received before Sunday, March 16, 2008. No refunds, medical or otherwise, will be issued after this date.

  Close 1. Do I need a license to race as a beginner?
  

  To participate in any of the competitive events at the Sea Otter Classic you will need a license issued by USA Cycling. If you do not have an annual license and are riding in any of the following categories, you should purchase one online when you register

  
  
  2. Do I need to be an expert rider?
  

  No, riders start out in a rookie class and work their way up. We have riders as young as 3 years old, and some riders too old to admit their age. All at varying degrees of ability. The only real requirement is that the rider be able to control the bike

  
  
  3. How do I get an NBL License?
  

  You can get an NBL License right at the track. NBL membership is $45.00 per year, beginning on the day you sign-up. We offer a 30 day trial membership for $30.00. You can convert it to a full membership for an additional $15.00.

  
  
  4. How do I register by mail?
  

  We do not accept entries by mail, fax, or over the phone. We only accpet on-line or on-site entries.

  
  
  5. On what date do late fees begin?
  

  All entries processed online after March 20, 2008

  
  
  6. What about safety gear?
  You need a long sleeve shirt, long pants, closed soft sole shoes (no sandals or dress shoes), and a helmet with mouth guard. Helmets are available to rent for $1 at the track. Gloves are highly recommended, but not required. Elbow and knee pads are also
  
  7. What does it take to get started in BMX?
  

  Well, basically, you need a bike and some basic safety gear and an NBL License.

  
  
  8. What kind of bike do I need?
  

  The bike doesn't have to be a special race bike. It just needs to be in safe working condition. We recommend that you have top tube, handlebar and stem pads. Reflectors and chain guards should be removed.

  
  
  9. What should I be careful about when pre-riding and riding the cross-country courses?
  

  The cross-country course for the 2007 Sea Otter Classic will be the same as in 2006, however bringing a map is never a bad idea. Please respect the land and stay on the trail. The Bureau of Land Management has rangers out on race weekend and if you stray

  Close 1. Can I bring my dog to the Sea Otter Classic?
  

  Due to strict Monterey County Parks Department enforcement guidelines, we are unable to welcome dogs to the Sea Otter Classic.

  
  
  
• Sports Expo
  Close 1. Do you provide security in the marketplace after the show closes?
  

  We have onsite security from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m from Wednesday April 17th until the event closes on April 20th. We do not recommend that any merchandise be left in any team or exhibit area.

  
  
  2. Do you provide support for our canopies in the event that it becomes windy?
  

  We usually have a generous supply of sand bags available but it is a good idea to bring your own tie strap materials.

  
  
  3. How many parking passes will the teams and exhibitors receive?
  

  Teams receive 4 parking passes and exhibitors receive 2 parking passes to park in the Exhibitor/Team support parking lot next to the marketplace.

  
  
  4. What are the hours of the marketplace?
  

  The marketplace opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. All vehicles have to be unloaded and then moved from the marketplace by 9:00 a.m.
