Contest: "How will you GoPro at the Sea Otter? Fan the GoPro page (& us of course), then post your answer to win 1 HERO camera and the mount of your choice."
Prize: GoPro HERO Camera
Winner: Evan Bissel
Winning response: "The craziest shot I've always wanted to get, is a cam mounted on the jaw a full-face, looking at my mirrored lensed goggles, where you can see the reflection of the rider in front of you. Kinda a cliche still shot, but i dont think it has ever been done with a helmet cam getting riding footage."

Contest: "3 words to describe your personal epic"
Prize: IMBA jersey and socks
Winner: Michael Bowen
Winning response: "Tired...wasted...GRINNING!"

Contest: "Your personal epic...and why it flippin' rules!"
Prize: IMBA Track Jacket
Winner: Billy Thomas
Winning response:

"A few years ago, two buddies and I decided to ride on Mt. St. Helens, tracing a route ridden a week prior by an organized ride. We climbed up sweet single track from a parking lot on the south side, up the east side through surviving old growth stands and out onto the plains of abraham, on our way to the windy ridge observatory. What a beautiful and eerie ride. It was foggy all morning which gave the standing dead trees ghostly silhouettes. It was simply amazing all the way to the observatory, with the devastation still so evident decades after the eruption. Mud flows and patterned blow-down, as well as a clear look into the crater at the top and after the fog lifted. It took us about an hour and a half to climb up." MORE >>

Contest: As a nod to the little nude guy with the bow and arrow, we're giving these away to the person with the best story of romance/marriage/love that involves bicycles.
Prize: 2 free "Double Whammy" passes to Northstar at Tahoe and Sierra at Tahoe.
Winner: Cyril Manning
Winning response:

"In 1998 I did an AIDS-Ride style charity thing from Seattle to DC. I was in a troubled relationship with a girl who couldn't fathom why I would want to pedal 3,000 miles over 48 days."

'Best 2010 Goal' Honors went to Robby Alves

"My goal for 2010 is to double the miles I ride. Last year, 2156 road and mountain bike. I will commute to work 2 times a week, 11 miles one way, should add 2288 miles tothe total.Get my 4 year old son pumped up about getting into BMX racing. Teach my daughter to ride without training wheels."

‘Worst Bike Experience EVER' Winner Lee Anderson writes

"I didn't even make it onto the bike: Heading downstairs from my apartment for a training ride. Bike on shoulder, new carbon shoes on feet, looking forward to great hill session. My left foot slipped (carbon on carpet = not grippy) but my right cleat hooked up and pulled my leg up behind me as I slid downwards. Foot ended up twisted behind me near my ear. Resulted in 4 broken ribs and spiral fractures of tibia & fibula. Carbon shoes destroyed (were cut off feet) but at least the bike was ok."
