2009 Sea Otter Classic School Outreach Bike Raffle Winners

The Sea Otter Classic focuses on supporting local organizations that benefit their communities in the areas of Youth, Sports, Education, and Environment. Sea Otter has had many Outreach Programs, but the most successful to date has been the School Outreach Program. Over the past several years Sea Otter has partnered with local business such as the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula to keep this program going.
Through this relationship Sea Otter has been able to double its exposure throughout the community. The School Outreach Program is comprised of visits to regional elementary and junior high schools, on-site activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles, safe bicycle riding practices, and environmental stewardship, and partnerships with event sponsors and their outreach programs. As part of the School Outreach program we raffle off 3 bicycles.
