Sea Otter Course Maps Available April 1, 2010
At the request of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), course maps for the Sea Otter Classic mountain bike and road race events will not be available until April 1, 2010. This will provide us sufficient time to evaluate road and trail conditions during the winter months. Our objective is to design routes that are competitive, safe, and environmentally sensitive.
As responsible stewards of our environment, we continually work with governing agencies to minimize our impact on our community. Please support us in our efforts to preserve the spectacular Fort Ord Public Lands by limiting automobile traffic and trail erosion. Final course maps will be produced by Garmin and posted to the Sea Otter website on April 1, 2010. An overall map of the Fort Ord Public Lands Trail System is available now for viewing and download.
